(More customer reviews)I bought this for my daughter for Christmas and she absolutely loves it.It gets hot very quickly and it curls and/or flattens beautifully leaving hair shiny and smooth.I have very curly and at times frizzy hair and usually use my own flattener or curling iron but wanted to try hers.The difference I saw in my hair led me to sneak into her room every morning and steal it to do my hair before work.After doing this off and on for two months, I am buying my own finally.I've used many brands of flatteners and curling irons but I'm not sure what it is about this one, it's just something you have to try to see the difference.P.S. my daughter and I both have medium to long hair if that makes a difference, but we each have layers/bangs in the front and have no issues at all using it
