(More customer reviews)I stumbled upon this dryer a year ago at a rock bottom price that I'll never see again, but I love it so much, I just purchased another one from Amazon to have as a backup.I've had very long hair most of my life, so drying is a boring, lengthy process.I don't need anything fancy; just a powerful flow of air, hot and warm temps, and buttons that aren't in a stupid location under my hand where I'm always hitting them.This dryer offers all of the above, especially the strong air flow, and just happens to be in my favorite color to boot (a gorgeous teal)!I don't know why they call it quiet, because I find it quite loud, and I'm not sure how effective the ionization and "gemstone" technology is.My hair is fine and prone to static during the winter months here in Michigan.Despite the claims of static elimination with this dryer, I nonetheless find that it's the shampoo/conditioner I use, not the dryer, that dictates whether I have a three-foot-high halo of electrified hair or not!
