(More customer reviews)I was sent this model of Solis hair dryer by mistake. I ordered Solis S401, but the place from which I ordered it (not Amazon, and not A-Viva Beauty) sent me instead this model, S407. These hair dryers, S401 and S407, look similar, but they are different models. This model, S407, has three-speed motor, and Solis S401 has two-speed motor. This model, S407, is capable of supplying - for a limited period of time - of an increased amount of air. The S401 model does not have this kind of capability. On the other side, S401 is capable of supplying hot air on the low speed of motor, and S407 (the model in question) is not capable of supplying hot air on the low speed of motor. If you want to choose between these two models, S401 and S407, it is a good idea, I think, to read the Instructions Manuals for these two models. The weight of the Solis S407 hair dryer with cord (but without packaging and withgout concentrator) is about 1.83 lb (about 829 gramms). The hair dryer is well balanced, and feels very good in hand.
