I bought it since I thought it would be lighter and I like seeing the mechanics of things.It pulls so much power it dimms the lights in my bathroom, it's not any lighter than a normal hand held hair dryer and it vibrated so much in my hand I thought I was getting a low current shock.I had it checked out and no shock but the vibrating is pretty tricky.I went back to my old one.
