(More customer reviews)I have very thick, course, curly hair. With other hairdryers, it would take at least 1 1/2 hours to just get my hair dry enough to straighten it with my Chi flat iron. With this hair dryer, it only took me 30 minutes and my hair ended up being straight as well.

NOTE: My hair wasn't out-the-door smooth with this dryer - I still have to flat iron it, but not nearly as much as before. Realize, I had to use the CHI at night and in the morning just trying to get my hair somewhat smooth. With this hair dryer, my hair gets smoother than that so when I use the CHI it is like I have normal-people-straight hair.

I got this as a gift and came on here to see how much it was (so I could get one for a friend). I was expecting the price to be higher, because it actually works with my hair...
