(More customer reviews)I have naturaly fine, but curly hair.If I let it air dry and pull it back, when I get home from work my hair isstill damp.Using conventional dryers, it takes approximately 45 minutes to dry my hair and it is always left very frizzy and never less than wavy.This dryer does the job in 20 minutes, is quieter and left my hair very shiny and smooth, with minimal waving!Although the dryer is listed at 1.5 pounds, it is a larger dryer and may be difficult to use by someone who is arthritic or small in stature.

New design and material(s) make(s) this brush heavy and rather uncomfortable on the wrist, especially if you have long or thick hair or just with prolong use.And because of its "in between" bristles, this makes brushing thick (straight) harder since there is less contact with the plastic bristles so you have to dry smaller sections at a time.

Other than that, love the fact that it matches my dryer and does the job but expect to use it when you've got extra time to rest in between brush strokes and work with smaller sections of hair...

(More customer reviews)I shopped around on Amazon before buying this one because I had specific product requirements: ceramic hotplates, rounded edges so it wouldn't catch and tug/tear my hair, multiple heat settings and not overpriced. This one has all these features and it came with free shipping. So far I have not had any problems with it, it does exactly what it advertises and it makes my hair look great - I have thin hair but it has a lot of body/wave to it and this iron makes it sleek and it will stay for most of the day. Because my hair is thin I don't have the heat setting too high so I don't toast it, you can set it really hot, so if I was going out in the evening it only takes a couple of minutes to touch up. This thing heats up real fast too.
